2025 Nomination Allocation
The federal government has reduced provincial nominee program admissions by 50%.
Individuals should expect longer processing times as there are fewer nominations available for 2025.
Ontario will continue to review applications and respond within the new program constraints, while selecting skilled economic immigrants who can help address the province’s most critical labour shortages.

Ontario’s 2024 nomination allocation reached
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has reached its 2024 nomination allocation. The program issued a total of 21,500 nominations to successful applicants across all streams in 2024.
New applications and applications already submitted to the OINP will continue to be accepted and considered under the program’s 2025 nomination allocation.
